In PMQs today, David Cameron raised Gordon Brown's terrible decision to scrap the 10p rate of income tax, which left everyone £250 worse off each year.
Is this a sign of greater things to come? The hint is intruiging, because it follows a story in the Daily Mail which stated that the Treasury were "studying" the policy, and that senior Treasury sources had said that the idea has "merit".
Kudos to Robert Halfon, MP for Harlow, for launching his campaign to restore the 10p rate, so that low earners can earn more like a Living Wage.
